The President of the eAtlantic Foundation, Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, presented the Foundation’s objectives and work plans to the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Spain, Sir Alex Ellis, during a meeting held in Madrid. The encounter formed part of a series of meetings that Lehendakari Urkullu has been holding with diplomatic representatives.
During the meeting, the British Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the proposals put forward by the President of eAtlantic and offered his support for their progressive implementation. Both parties agreed on the importance of promoting shared frameworks between the public and private sectors, underpinned by a commitment to sustainable human development and the pursuit of solutions that foster greater competitiveness and social prosperity.
The meeting, which was also attended by Marian Elorza, Director of eAtlantic, provided an opportunity for Lehendakari Urkullu to brief the Ambassador on the key principles behind the Foundation’s creation and on the roadmap approved by its Board of Trustees for the launch of its first line of research.
